Our EDA Team

Our EDA Staff and Volunteer Executive Board Members brings a wealth of experience and passion to the EDA. From professional services and retail to culinary, academics and banking, our team represent a variety of businesses and nonprofit organizations. Several board members are also downtown Ellensburg residents. The EDA staff and board oversees the implementation of EDA’s strategic plan and provides diverse perspectives on ensuring a healthy, vibrant Ellensburg downtown.

Director

Teresa Chanes

Teresa's primary focus is on community programming, fundraising, and supporting the initiatives of the EDA’s four committees: Design, Outreach, Promotions and Economic Development.

Director of Community Development

Katie Holm

With experience in business development, fundraising, social media campaigns and volunteer recruitment she is excited to serve the community as the Director of Community Engagement at the EDA.

Events and Marketing

Hayley Harrell

Since moving to Ellensburg in 2012, Hayley has leveraged her skills in marketing, event planning, and content creation to tell the unique stories of Central Washington.
