Halloweek is brought to you by the Ellensburg Downtown Association, Habitat for Humanity, the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce, The Mule Cocktail Bar, and Central Washington University. Enjoy a week-long of spooky events and activities for the whole family!


*All Week Long* Color for Candy! Pick up a coloring sheet at any of the partner locations or download them below. Once your child has completed the coloring sheet, visit one of the three pick-up locations:

Virtual Costume Contest! Send in your best costume BEFORE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28, and enter into one of the three categories: Spookiest Costume, Best Family Costume, and Most Creative Costume. Photo entries will be uploaded onto the Ellensburg Downtown Association Facebook page. The photos from each category with the most likes will win a Halloween Gift Basket! The winners will be announced on Friday, October 30.

*All Week Long* Haunted Homes Driving Tour! Gather the family and drive around town to see haunted home displays all week long. A map with the spookiest houses will be available on October 19 so you can plan out your scary driving route. The best time to view the home displays will be between 7-9 p.m., please keep in mind that homeowners will NOT be passing out candy due to COVID restrictions. Please be kind and respectful while on the Haunted Home Tour. *NEW* Vote for your favorite house on the tour by clicking HERE!!

*MASKS REQUIRED* Halloween Candy Bag Grab! Saturday, October 31, 4-7 pm Put your masks and costumes on and drive-thru one of the locations around town to pick up a candy bag for your child (one bag per child). Each bag will be filled with candy and Halloween goodies! Non-food Halloween bags will be available for those with dietary restrictions or disabilities. Candy bags are limited supply, so please only visit ONE location.

Locations include:

  1. Central Washington University: WSECU bank parking lot across from Kamola Hall
  2. Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce parking lot along Main Street
  3. Hotel Windrow Valet Parking lot on Pearl St.
  4. The Mule Cocktail Bar along 4th Ave.

Volunteers handing out candy bags will be wearing masks and gloves and will have sanitizer available. Please wear your masks while you are receiving your candy bag. Volunteers will be instructed not to give a candy bag to anyone not wearing a mask. Masks will be available if needed. Please remain in your car while driving-thru the candy bag location.
